Why palms have different pricing
Palm removal is different to standard tree removal. The trunk is fibrous and doesn't chip efficiently. Tall palms require rope access. Cocos palms produce seed clusters that need careful, slow removal to avoid mess. Date palms are heavy and spiny — slow work. The price reflects the specific difficulty of each species.
Stump grinding for palms
Palm stumps are fibrous and take longer to grind than hardwood stumps. Budget $100–$250 for palm stump grinding, quoted separately. Most customers include it — regrowth from cocos palm stumps can be persistent.
Multiple palm discount
